Trails View Cycle Trader Race Team Report NSW State GE Series Round 1
With a back-country feel, dry and dusty conditions and awesome trails, the NSW State GE Series Round 1, kicked off in Sunny Orange.

After a busy few week’s with Cannonball, Rocky trail Super Flow and Interschools, our
rider’s legs must have been feeling it, but a select few attended this round including Max
Buaumhof in the under 17’s, Noah Gidney in the under 19’s and Blake Randall in the
Ebike Elites.

This sounded like the race of the season so far with riders all stating that the trails were
awesome.

Blake’s feedback was “Orange was the best fun on the bike for a while”.
Max stated “the tracks were tough but, I had such a good weekend up in Orange”

Rider – Max Buaumhof

The Results came in with Blake making the solid podium result coming in 2nd, Max finishing mid pack and Noah making the tough decision to pull out after 2 stages.

Rider – Blake Randall

Noah showed experience above his riding years, after not feeling the flow in the 1st two
stages Noah decided to sit out the last 2 stages and not cause himself a serious injury.
These are often the hardest decisions to make but im sure Noah has already thought
about how he can improve for future events.

Rider – Noah Gidney

A big shout out has to go to one of our team Sponsors Dan Smith, who showed of his
credential with a solid 3rd place in a competitive master’s field and finished 34th overall

Rider – Dan Smith

Our next event is the 2nd round of the NSW GE events at Green Valleys ( 22nd of April)
closely followed by the Rocky Trails Super Flow event at Cooma ( 29th of April)
Big thanks again to our Team Sponsors
